The Villa is a spacious, double volume home with sleek, minimalistic lines incorporating an outside-in architectural design. A spectacular view of the mountain range peeking through the lofty downstairs lounge window paints a picture of a thousand holidays. Relax in the splash pool on hot summer days or chill under the shade net whilst preparing you pizza in the wood-fired oven. The villa is perfect for hosting of a large family or a group of 10 guests in need of memory filled holidays superbly located near Langbaai beach and coastal paths (a mere 5 minute walk).
The downstairs main bedroom comprises an extra-length queen-size bed, air-con, ample cupboards, a dresser table and has partial views of the ocean. The adjoining bathroom has a bath and shower. Bedrooms 2 to 5 are all located upstairs. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed with a wonderful sea view. Bedrooms 3 and 4 both contain twin beds and are perfect for children. Bedroom 5 has a queen-size bed and balcony overlooking the pool and beautiful mountain range. Bedrooms 2-5 all share two adjoining bathrooms, each with showers. The upstairs area also has a lounge or reading area with a balcony and large stack doors, allowing for the fresh sea breeze to entertain the senses.
Downstairs the living and dining room area are well equipped to entertain large groups of guests. The 10 seater dining room table is located near the open plan kitchen and scullery, enabling easy access. Windows from the kitchen and lounge area invite laughter and banter from the lounge area right into the under roof braai and entertainment area, which has its own 10 seater table and couch. The entertainment area has a wood fired braai and pizza oven and a bar fridge. The entertainment area provide open access through sliding doors to a private enclave of fun, the swimming pool and shaded deck area comprising outdoor furniture. The lounge, kitchen and entertainment areas each have a flatscreen TV and sound system.
The large kitchen with granite counter tops comprises a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Security is provided through connectivity to HPS security response and shutter doors all around. Garage parking for two cars is possible with space for two more cars in the driveway. Although all doors and windows can be opened to the street, it is good practice in South Africa to close them when asleep or when guests are not physically in the house.
Other services include dongle wifi, an air-con in the lounge area, a work station, and fans in each of the rooms. Hermanus’ famous Lizette’s Kitchen is a short walk away for leisurely dining.
