The House is the ultimate in luxury holiday living in an ultra modern, architectural masterpiece of glass, concrete, wood and steel, blending perfectly with the expansive views of nature and the peaceful surroundings of Onrus River, located only a short drive from Hermanus central.  The tastefully decorated home offers plenty of spaces to relax and entertain, with views that draw attention from anywhere in the house, inspiring rest, revitalisation and reflection.

The solar powered house comprises 5 en-suite bedrooms and can accommodate 10 guests. The main bedroom, situated on the first floor level, contains a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, a large dressing area and a private balcony with deck chairs overlooking the lush greenery of the Onrus River lagoon and ocean. The second and third bedrooms are also situated on the first floor and both contain queen-size beds, with bedroom 2 having a shower and bedroom 3 containing a free standing bath. The second bedroom has expansive view of the Onrus lagoon and ocean across the pool. The third bedroom overlooks the back garden and the mountain. The upstairs floor offers a kitchenette as well. The fourth bedroom is located on the ground floor and comprises a king-size bed, and en-suite bathroom with a shower. Sliding doors open onto a private outdoor sitting area and it has views of the back garden. The fifth bedroom is downstairs on the lower ground level and has a kitchenette. It has a queen-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. All rooms have air-conditioning.

The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area,  2 lounges and a separate TV lounge with two 65″ TV’s, a bar area with wine coolers and an ice maker. The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 integrated fridge/freezer combinations, a double Miele oven with steam- and Micto convection oven, a gas- and an induction hob, a Nespresso coffee maker, and a fully equipped separate scullery with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen and all the bathrooms throughout the house have filtered water. Cleaning consumables and toiletries are provided.

Additional features include outdoor BBQ / braai facilities and pizza oven, a fireplace in the lounge and in the main bedroom, a fire pit, outdoor dining, free Wi-Fi with full DSTV / Netflix, 3 more TV’s, garage parking for 4 cars as well as additional secure parking. The house also has a roof terrace from where lifetime memories can be captured.

Housekeeping services are provided at least 5 times per week. Food spices and fire wood are freely supplied, as well as a starter pack of coffee capsules for the Nespresso machine.

The house is ideally located within walking distance to Onrus Beach. Just down the road a minute’s walk away is the Coffee Corner, which serves fabulous breakfast and lunches. The Heartbeat Cafe deli and bakery serves delicious, fresh croissants and artisan breads everyday. The well-known Milkwood Restaurant offering superb breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as the Onrus beach, is a mere 4 minutes’ stroll away. Moltenos restaurant can be reached in 3 minutes and offers tasty Pizza and home-style cooking. Onrus is excellent for walking along the coastal paths, and perfect for nature lovers, and the Onrus beach is one of the top rated beaches in the country.
