This eco-conscious home is completely off-the-grid and offers all you will need to relax and unwind in the exquisite and tranquil forest setting.

Self-catering accommodation is offered in this unique 2-bedroom family home set in a gorgeous private nature reserve, conveniently only 20 minutes from Knysna town.

The house is secluded and totally private, tucked away in an indigenous forest, where guests can explore into the heart of nature and soak up the beautiful views of the glistening river and valleys.

This establishment can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises of 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a double bed as well as 2 small beds suitable for children. The main bedroom has an en-suite bedroom with a bath with an overhead shower from where guests can enjoy views of the forest. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom with a small shower as well as a toilet. There is also a day bed in the lounge for an additional guest. Linen is provided, as well as eco-friendly bath and cleaning products, which need to be used as the septic system cannot tolerate chemicals.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Due to the solar power, it is best to charge items such as laptops in the daylight. Please keep in mind that the power will not support high wattage appliances such as hairdryers or toasters.

The kitchen leads into an open-plan dining area and lounge, both of which open onto the deck overlooking the river and ocean views. There is also a beautiful wooden deck outside.

This is definitely not a home suited to all. It is important to emphasize the fact that it is very much in the heart of the forest and will be suited to adventurous travelers! Who truly enjoy being out in nature, without all the razzle-dazzle that town has to offer
